I am capable, trustworthy and able to deal with situations as they arise. I am the type of person who will go the extra mile when looking after your dog, as this is second nature to me. I am an animal lover but have a lot of respect for them, making sure dogs can be dogs.

Many clients are nervous about using this service for the first time. It is crucially important that your concerns are immediately put to rest by meeting a friendly and caring person.

I have over 30 years experience with dogs and an excellent track record with animals as l come from a farm and veterinary background. l am happy to provide written references, as well as put you in touch with clients who are happy to talk to you and tell you of their experiences. I understand the importance of providing a professional service and have no logos on cars or clothing so no one needs to know you are away, ensuring the service is completely discreet.

I completely understand the importance of other concerns you have regarding the age, health and well- being of your animal if needed. I am happy to communicate with other professionals and take your dog to see them.

I will be in contact with you while you are away, in case of any problems and to provide up-to-date dogs' antics.

Why use our service?

Our service offers the ultimate peace of mind. You can have a stress free holiday knowing that your dog is being cared for in its own routine, in its own home and that someone is in your property.

I walk my dog away from my home - can the sitter drive my car?

Our sitter has her own car that is insured for business use. If it's better for your dog to be in your car then this can be arranged.

Do you offer a pop-in service?

We only offer a live-in service as we believe it is better for your dog and your home. Our insurance is tailor-made for this.

My dog has pre-booked vet's visits while l am away.

This is no problem, we are happy to take your dog to the vet's, or any other appointments with other animal professionals. In fact it would help our sitter to understand your dog better. Also this will all be talked through and arranged in the visits before you go away.

How can l be sure my dog will settle with your sitter?

There is never any guarantee, however the sitter will visit you and your dog twice before you go away allowing you to witness their interactions. A discussion on everything from how your dog will react to things, what time they eat, what they like, where their favourite walk is, which is their favourite toy and where they hide it and so on will take place beforehand. Do l need to provide food etc for the sitter?

No. She will bring everything with her. There is no extra charge per day for food etc.

Someone else will be in the house during your sit - is this ok?

Unfortunately, we would not be able to do the sit in this case as our insurance would not be able to take responsibility for the security of the property or the dog.

What if our return is delayed?

We understand these things happen and this is not a problem. We will know when your flights are due in or when you will be home and we know you won't be doing this on purpose. All we ask is you make us aware of the situation, so we don’t leave your dog without care until we know you are close to home.

Are your services insured?

Yes very! We are Insured with public liability and the services themselves are fully insured.

Property and dog sitting - what if there is a problem with the house?

This will all be talked about in great detail before you go, so if there is a problem we can get in whoever you want to do whatever you need and we keep notes, get prices etc for you. However we are not responsible for the work or the tradesmen.

We have cleaners and gardeners coming in while we are away.

We are happy to co-ordinate and stay in while any other services are present if required.

How would you deal with an unexpected visitor?

The sitter would politely ask them to state their business and take a message on your behalf, then make sure they leave the property. More detailed information can be discussed on our visits before your departure.
